 Alan MacDiarmid Scholarships
The scholarship was established in 2002 in recognition of
the outstanding achievements of former Masterton resident,
Professor Alan MacDiarmid, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in
Science.

Awarded annually to the Trust District’s top chemistry
student intending to study toward a science degree.

Awarded
for three years on confirmation of results and re-enrolment.

Selected
by agreement by the Masterton secondary school Principals.
