Funding is allocated to all Masterton early childhood, primary, intermediate and secondary schools based on their March roll returns to the Ministry of Education.

Professional development programmes for teachers in early childhood, primary/intermediate and secondary schools are the current focus of the Trust's education grants to schools. These are agreed with the Principals' Groups and the combined Wairarapa Kindergartens.
